rally your people
feed 10 families with us.
The Good Fight Food Drive is going back for 2,000 Cincinnati families this Thanksgiving. We'd love you in our corner.
deadline: november 12
why it matters.
Holidays shouldn't be hard days.
The drive started 11 years ago with 5 families. Every year Cincinnati has shown up bigger. Last year we came up 194 families short of 2,000, so this year is The Rematch.
the ask.
Rally your people to feed 10 families.
$50 covers a box of Thanksgiving sides plus $20 for the turkey. Every dollar counts, even if you land short of 10.

tag them publicly
every thank-you starts the next round.
A public thank-you does a few things at once. It honors the person who gave. It shows your followers this is real and that people they know are already in. And it answers the question most people quietly ask themselves: is anyone else doing this?
Seeing a friend's name makes it easier to picture joining them. On Instagram and Facebook, a tag can also put your fundraiser in front of the donor's own followers when they reshare it. That's not pressure. It's letting people see what's already happening.
Research backs this up: when giving is visible, people give more. In one study, donors who heard that someone else had already given pledged about 12% more.

thank them out loud.
Zeffy emails you every time someone gives to your page. Thank them publicly the same day: tag them in a story. It honors the gift and shows everyone watching that people are already in. Thank the person, not the amount: leave gift sizes out so nobody feels their gift was too small. If someone gave anonymously, or you're not sure they want to be named, thank them without the tag.

the dare
strongest one"If I hit my goal, I’ll ___." Shave the beard, take an ice bath, take a pie to the face. Your people give to see it happen. Then pay it off on camera.
the call-out
spreads it"I just gave $50. I’m calling out @___, @___ and @___. You’ve got 48 hours." Tag three people who will actually do it.

$50 is ___
makes it real"$50 is my Friday night DoorDash. For a family in Cincinnati, it’s all of Thanksgiving." Use a real example from your own week.
the fridge
no scriptOpen your fridge on camera. "Most of us have more than enough. 2,000 families here don’t." Then point to your link.
make a call
real reactionCall your mom, grandpa or kid on camera and ask what they remember about Thanksgiving growing up. Make the ask right after.
the daily count
builds pressureSame five-second shot every day: "Day 4. 6 families fed." People start checking in, and the last few come fast.

good to know.
Where does the money go?
Every gift buys Thanksgiving boxes for Cincinnati families. Boxes go out through local food pantries and nonprofits that serve families, like Woven Oak's food pantry, Found Village and The Salvation Army.
Do my followers' gifts count toward the big goal?
Yes. Every dollar on your page counts toward the Rematch goal of $100,000 and 2,000 families.
Are gifts tax-deductible?
Yes. The Passion & Purpose Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and Zeffy emails every donor a receipt.
What if I don't hit 10 families?
Every family counts. Post your check-ins and final push, and we'll help push your page along the way.
What if I pass my goal?
Keep going. Your page stays open until November 12, and every $50 past your goal feeds another family.
Can my followers volunteer too?
Yes. Send them to the food drive page to sign up for pack weekend.
How should I name the drive?
Say "The Good Fight Food Drive" and "The Passion & Purpose Project." The Good Fight Foundation is a different organization.
